Product Builder
📝 What You’ll Do
- Find what’s worth building. Get close to the business, understand the real workflow, and prioritize by impact, feasibility, and urgency, including knowing when the answer is “don’t build it.” Ask what problem is actually worth solving before you open the editor.
- Build it, ship it, run it. Go from a customer conversation to a live product faster than most teams write a spec. You’re full-stack with AI tooling, from data model to interface, and you ship the whole thing.
- Stay close to real users. Spend time where the product is actually used and learn from how people really use it, not from behind a desk.
- Own the numbers. Set a baseline up front, instrument the funnel and the unit economics, and report the real movement to the team.
- Build it to hand off. Structure each build so the next owner can run it without you, then go start the next one.
✒️ You’re a Great Fit If You
- You ship, and you can show it. You’ve put real products live that people actually use, not demos. Share your GitHub or whatever you’ve built.
- You’re AI-native and you learn fast. You build with AI coding and agent tools (Cursor, Claude Code, and the like), and you keep up with the space by doing, not just reading.
- You can go full-stack alone. Backend plus a usable frontend when you’re moving fast. We care more about range than deep specialization.
- You’re high-agency. Self-directed and resourceful, and you work through blockers whether they’re technical or organizational. No middle managers, no ticket queue. The outcome is yours.
- You have product and design sense. You care about the experience and the business impact, not just the code.
- You’re comfortable building in a regulated space. We operate close to financial regulation, so guardrails, oversight, and auditability are part of how you build from the start.
